Internal Quality Assurance Cell

The establishment of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in 2024 in our institution was a pivotal step towards ensuring the continuous enhancement and sustainability of quality in higher education institutions. The purpose of the IQAC is not only to monitor and improve institutional performance but also to foster an environment where quality improvement is a continuous and ingrained process within the institution's system.

As outlined, the IQAC plays a significant role in the post-accreditation phase by:

  • Conscious Improvement:Ensuring that improvements in various aspects of the institution, from academic to administrative, are made deliberately and consistently.
  • Consistent Monitoring: Keeping track of institutional progress to make sure that improvements are sustained over time.
  • Catalytic Role: Motivating and encouraging faculty, staff, and management to pursue higher standards in teaching, learning, research, and infrastructure.
  • Systematic Approach: Developing structured strategies and systems for continuous quality enhancement in alignment with national and international standards of education.
  • Academic Excellence: Focusing efforts towards enhancing academic standards by improving curriculum design, teaching methodologies, student engagement, and research output.

IQAC can help the institution maintain a culture of quality improvement and ensure that it meets the expectations of accreditation bodies, stakeholders, and the wider academic community. It also supports institutional efforts to stay relevant and competitive in the ever-evolving landscape of higher education.
